Born in Mexico City.

Diana Bekman studied drawing, painting, infant painting and Batik with Professors A. Kronengold, J.E. Aguilar and R. Bond.

In San Miguel de Allende (Mexico), the artist studied “Master Classes” with James Pinto and Lithography with J. Gianpaoli. Later on, Mrs. Bekman learned etching techniques with M. Flores and H. Hernandez as well as visual appreciation with L. Gutierrez at the Academia de San Carlos in Mexico City. She also studied the art of Paper Making at the recognized Instituto Nacional de las Bellas Artes in Mexico City.
